Ouibus is one of the main providers for traveling France by bus; the company is part of the SNCF group ( the same that manages the railway network in the country) and has a rather widespread coverage over more than 100 domestic and European cities at very competitive prices. If you’re planning a trip to the country on the other side of the English Channel and want to jump from one town to the other, Ouibus is definitely a cheap alternative to trains in France; on Wanderio, not only can you find a flight to reach your first destination, but also all the routes offered by the French bus provider, so as to be able to plan your trip in detail. For instance, you can get from Paris to Marseille by bus for just € 29, passing from the art city par excellence to a city by the sea in few hours (and at an affordable price!) or travel on a coach between Lyon and Avignon for only € 9 and get fascinated by the Palais des Papes.
Established in 2012, Ouibus has grown a lot since then. The three bus stations from which the majority of lines leave are Paris Bercy, Lyon Perrache and Lille Europe; however, the company covers more than 100 destinations in France and connects the most important cities of the country with others in Europe. For instance, you can take a bus from London to Paris and get to one of the most beautiful European capitals for just € 19. Once in France, it’s easy to move towards the best destinations of the country. If you’re curious to explore even the hidden gems of France, you can take a coach from Paris to Mont Saint-Michel - with tickets starting from € 19, you will have the chance to see how an island can become a peninsula depending on the tide. Whatever are the stopovers during your trip, Ouibus is able to offer a valid alternative to flights and trains.

If you want to enjoy the university life of France instead, Lille is your destination - you will find 17 daily buses between this city and the capital, from 8:30 am to 9 pm which will make you reach your destination in three hours.
Thanks to the recent establishment of the company, Ouibus coaches are very modern and, as a consequence, you can find high-quality services during your journey.
Pets on a Ouibus coach
Pets are not allowed on board, except for guide dogs; however, you shall contact the company first if you are about to travel on an international route.
Every passenger can bring up to two suitcases they can put in the luggage compartment (total dimensions must measure no more than 200 cm and each piece should not weigh over 20 kg) and two hand luggage they can place on the luggage rack or under the seat. On Paris to London buses, however, only one suitcase is allowed. All objects must be labeled with name and address.
Good news! Wi-fi connection is a complimentary service on every bus.
In addition to the wi-fi connection, each seat is equipped with a small table, individual reading light and sockets, so as to be able to use your electronic devices. You can also find a screen with real-time information on your journey and arrival time on each coach.
There is a toilet in every Ouibus coach, even though you can also use the toilet of the service area during the halfway stops.
Seats and assistance to the disabled
There are seats for reduced-mobility people on each Ouibus coach; you just have to contact the company when booking depending on your needs to have the proper assistance for getting on board and getting off the bus.
Ouibus is at the cutting edge as far as tickets are concerned - you can travel ticketless on every route and your identity card will be enough to get on board. At the same time, tickets are personal and only valid for the booked journey. You can purchase your tickets on Wanderio and find them in the “My trips” section - even simpler if you use our App available for iOS and Android!
For young travelers
Children under 2 pay half price. Those younger than 16 years old, instead, must travel accompanied by an adult; the only exception is for children between 12 and 16 who can travel solo as long as they have a written authorization by their parents or legal ward.
Ouibus offers two types of fares that don’t implicate differences related to the onboard services.
You can modify or cancel bookings for Standard fare tickets. In case of any changes, you can modify the date and departure hour as well as the name and the passenger’s date of birth; you have time up to 15 minutes before the bus leaves for that. If the new ticket is more expensive, you just need to pay the difference (even though there is no operating cost if you manage your booking online), otherwise, you will have the price difference refunded in vouchers. You will be reimbursed in vouchers in case of canceling as well.
These are the discounted tickets you can find with Ouibus. Prices are more convenient of course, but you cannot amend nor cancel your booking in this case.
